About me

My name is Mike Ramos. I'm a Senior Software Engineer building CI/CD platforms at IBM. My current project is based on Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Pipelines and supports over one thousand apps. I'm also a new dad, and I might write about some of what I've learned there too!

My Career

I started my career with an internship at IBM in 2014 working on mobile apps for IBM employees. During my internship, I learned about REST APIs with Node.js and moved on to a backend developer position. I spent my time working to optimize our cloud deployments, finding new and innovative ways to build and deploy our microservices. I learned that DevOps was a real passion of mine, and I’ve spend the last 6 years working on CI/CD platforms for building and deploying IBM internal applications.

This Blog

I’d like to use this blog to share some of what I’ve learned along the way, so that I can help others along their journeys. Even better, I would love if others had feedback on some of the projects I’ve worked on.
